Fall Vacation - Previously known as "The Deer Hunt"

The kids have been out of school the last two days and I love it. We had a good time, We played on the computer, Rylie went to the zoo with Syd, Hailey, and Kaitlyn (see Darla's blog - I'm sure she will have pictures), Kyle shot his first deer, and we even enjoyed doing nothing together. Too bad that Russ always works when the kids are out of school. It never fails.




Kyle's 1st deer. . . Not real big but, good meat. He was pretty excited and he hasn't even minded the razzing that his brother has given him - any way ,not too much. All Kyle has wanted is jerky. I will have to get busy now.

Maybe my memory isn't so good.




Rylie in 1994 - Now I do remember this hair.
I told Rylie that she looks just like Shannon and Portia used to with that hair. They both had that "do". As much hairspray as Rylie uses now, I can only imagine how much I would have to buy if she really had that hair.



Ty in 1952 - He looks so sophisticated doesn't he. So clean cut. Innocent. Charming. Nice white shirt and tie.

Then he came home last night - with his "new do".
I thought that Dr. Mur was a better example.

I am so thankful that he really doesn't like it either. I can't wait to shave it all one length - bald. The basketball coaches won't have to worry about it being too long now.
