WOW!!! A Bishop in the Family

Not that we all didn't think that it would happen... just now we are all going to have to straighten up. No, we are really proud of Jim and excited for the opportunities that Jim and Evelyn will have because of this new calling as bishop. I am sure Jim is a little (or alot) nervous but we all know that he will do an excellent job. We know that he will love his ward (even those that don't love to be there on Sunday) and will be an influence for good in their lives. Good luck Jim and Congratulations! I bet Mom is smiling right now. I wonder what little tune she is humming. I would love to hear what she is telling everyone up there. Maybe about when Jim killed all the "mean chickens". She always told that one. Anyway, I know that she is one PROUD MOM. And Dad is pretty excited about it too. You know, he thought that they should have "given" it to Jim when they put that last guy in - - he cracks me up.
We all had a fun time after church. It is so fun to get together as a family. These little cousins love each other. And thanks Warnicks for letting my family feel like we are part of the bunch. My girls (and boys) love it!!! And I know a couple of little girls that must think that Kyle is a cutie. I am so good with that. It makes me a little nervous when the girls are any older than 5 or 6 yrs old.

That is so awesome. Yes we all knew that it would happen. I feel left out. Didn't know until mom called me at 9:00 pm Sunday night. Congratulations to Jim.
