A Night To Remember

Ty had his Jr. Prom Saturday and we had a great time getting ready for the big night and even more fun at the prom and during the day date. It was the perfect day for the "Amazing Race". Ty's team ended up winning. His team was - Ty and Maryn, Joey and Jessica, and Nick and Salem. They are all extemely competitive. There was only 2 minutes between the 1st team back and the 3rd team back so it was pretty close. I really think that Ty broke the speed limit. What do you think? He is my child you know. That's what scares me. I wish that he drove slow like his dad. I would feel much better about sending him out the door.

He took Maryn Cook and had a GREAT time. The theme for the prom was "A Night To Remember" and the theme song was "The Ride of Your Life". He said it was even better than he thought that it would be. Maryn looked gorgeous, which she always does, and I would have to say that TY cleans up pretty good too. Because Maryn is a Sophomore, Ty escorted Katie Noyes during the promonade and he danced with Emilee Banks in the Junior's dance. I am so glad that they had a fun time and that it was a memorable time in Ty's High School days.

I can't believe how fast my boys are growing up. But, I wouldn't want it any other way.

I had to add this picture of Russ and Karen. They were standing there talking about the "Prom of 1980". They went to Prom together and now they are at their boys' prom. How time flies!!! I feel like I keep saying that. But it really does.
