Last week we had the football banquet. Coach Loe fixed an awesome meal and we had a great time honoring the seniors. I can't believe this football season is actually over. We had such a great year. It makes me excited for next year. I am just not too thrilled that Ty is getting so close to graduating.
But, as for the night and the awards Ty was given a couple of fun awards. They gave him a plaque for being a captain and then he got the "All-purpose player of the Year" along with Josh Ipson and Taylor Shamo. I was so excited that he got chosen for 1st team All-region team. Good job Ty Ty!!!
During the year they gave shirts for player of the game in different positions. Kyle got one Offensive player of the week and he was also Hogi Yogi player of the game that week. And Ty received a Defensive Player of the Week shirt, 2 Hammer shirts-(best hit of the week), and 2 Blocker of the Week shirts. and he also got a Hogi Yogi Player of the Week.
Yes, we are very proud parents. Good job guys and good luck with basketball this year. I hope it is as great as football was.
