OK, our basketball team has been struggling, to say the least. Well last Friday we played Emery who is the 1st place team in our region and who was ranked 2nd in the state in the 3A division. If we won we would place 4th and get a playoff game and if we lost we would have to play the winner of the Manti-N. Sanpete game to see who would get the playoff game with Judge. Well, I have to admit that I was not very optimistic going into the game. It was the seniors last home game and they honored them before the game and that was fun. It is so weird doing all these "last" things. Then the game started and our boys played amazing in the 1st half. We were actually up 34 - 22 at half time. Well, the 2nd half started and we struggled (to say the least). Emery tied the game in the 4th quarter and I was sick about it. But we made a basket with only a few (too many) seconds left to put us ahead and Emery went down the court and missed the shot at the buzzer. Oh my gosh it was exciting!!!
Both Ty and Kyle played amazing!!! Kyle got Hogi-Yogi player of the game. So we play Judge, who are now ranked 2nd after Emery's loss, on Saturday.

OK, I must set the record straight. We had already won region, we all knew that. Poor Delta wasn't going to get a playoff game if they didn't win. Heck, what did we have to lose? We let you get a good lead, battled back to get ya nervous then gave a courtesy win. It was the least we could do, really. LOL, it was a fun game, the boys played great and Kyle deserved player of the game. Congrats Kyle!! All things aside, I guess you're ok:)
